Tournament of champions is a special tournament that features up to 27 players (21 in 2022 and 15 players in two weeks prior to 2022) who won at least 5 games or close to winning 5 games in a row, starting in 1985. Champions wildcard is a tournament for wildcard players who will compete for a berth at the tournament of champions.
